Nothing new to report here. If you are a fan a 60s style garage rock (The Sonics, Back From The Grave series, etc), then you have heard this song and dance before. Perhaps there is a band from your city that sounds like Thee Vicars. Maybe you are even lucky enough to have a weekly club night in your town like The Dirty Water Club, which was a 60s retro night in North London that would showcase bands like Thee Vicars.

Nothing on Psychotic Beat really sticks or stands out, other than the authentic 60s sound that these British cats are able to master in the studio. If you have been spending the last fifteen years listening to throwback lo-fi rock like The Makers or The Mummies - and haven't grown tired of it, then this record will not disappoint you.
