Bono, Edge, choose a side already!

Anyone else find it discomforting to watch the new Blackberry commercial featuring U2? With the introduction of the iPhone last year, I would consider Apple and Blackberry competitors. And it wasn't that long ago when there was an actual U2-Apple partnership that delivered atleast one U2-branded iPod to the public. Well, that particular iPod model has been absent from the Apple store for quite awhile. I have to wonder if there were a political reasons when U2 decided to jump ship. Or maybe Apple realized it was time to shed the dinosaurs from their ad campaigns after the Paul McCartney commercial from 2007 didn't attract positive response as they had hoped.

One more thing. Is it me or does this commercial look like a Coldplay music video ripoff?
