New T.S.O.L. Album - FREE!!!

The new record from American punk legends T.S.O.L. is out...and it's FREE! That's right. Free! Thanks to a partnership between the band and surf/skate apparel company Hurley, anyone can download the album with no cost.  They don't even require an email address.

T.S.O.L. have been one of the few "old school" bands to release strong material decades after their prime years, some of which has been considered among the band's best output. Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Free Downloads is no exception. Many T.S.O.L. fans would like to forget the time period between 1982's Beneath The Shadows and 2001's Disappear in which Jack Grisham gave up the lead spot to his brother-in-law Joe Wood. Grisham spent many of those nineteen years pursuing projects of various genres including Cathedral of Tears (goth/dance), Tender Fury (sleaze rock), and The Joykiller (melodic rock/pop-punk) - all of which assisted in Jack's path to maturity and his stellar songwriting ability. Meanwhile, Ron Emory proved to be one of the best underground rock guitarists during the Change Today/Revenge/Hit and Run trilogy - possibly earning him notoriety as an American version of Billy Duffy. It's obvious that those experiences, while so far removed from the original True Sounds of Liberty anarcho-punk aesthetics, are some of the most important reasons why T.S.O.L.'s 21st century output has been so solid.
