Upcoming Events
Hello! I got a handful of gigs in late August that I am involved with in one way or another at the venue I work at: Hollywood Alley. There has been 20 Year Anniversary Celebrations every Saturday this month, but this coming Saturday is the one we have been waiting on the most. Word has it that Jamie from Blanche Davidian will be singing a song with Bourbon Witch. Greenhaven hasn't played the Alley in almost a year. I expect a packed house.
The brunch has been an idea Johnny Volume and I have been buzzing about since the Whiskey Alley nights were cancelled. It aligns with the whole "Sunday Funday" concept in one of the most comfortable bars in town with one of the best kitchens. I told the Sunday staff to expect alot of cowboys and punk rockers trying to be cowboys. $6.00 breakfast and beverage? You can't beat that.
The Boss Martians make their 3rd trip to Hollywood Alley this year. The last gig in June went extremely well with Evan and the crew sandwiched between The Love Me Nots and Green Lady Killers. Since then the Boss Martians have been placed into rotation on a few Sirius stations on top of the buzz that Iggy Pop is singing on their new album.
I thought I would promote a Sunday night before Labor Day show. No work, no school the next day. Great line up, should be fun.
